Real very-late-war 'rope hole' Arisakas lack sling swivels and as the name suggests just have a hole in the buttstock for a rope sling. The rifle in the auction is not quite that late-war because it still has sling swivels. I have included a picture of the sling on my Type 38 Arisaka so that you can see how it fits and looks on display.
